The statement explained that the officer is expected to use his wealth of experience to conclude the “fight against terrorism and insurgency” in Nigeria within the stipulated three months order given by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Army said ‘Operation Lafiya Dole’ would work as a “unified command coordinating 3 and 7 Divisions of the Nigerian Army as well as other elements” of the operation.
