Authorities of the Nigeria Police Force have disclosed that the recruitment of 10,000 personnel into the Force as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to kick-off.
A statement issued Friday in Abuja by the Force spokesman, Emmanuel Ojukwu, stressed that modalities for the exercise are “being worked out with the Police Service Commission,” stating that when things are finalised, the Force would make the announcement to the “general public”.
“The general public is hereby warned to beware of online fraudsters who may take advantage of the recruitment information to defraud them of their hard earned money,” the Force stressed, noting that “the Nigeria Police Force will adequately advertise on all forms of media (Televisions, Newspapers, etc) when the recruitment commences.”
