Dr Akinwunmi Adesina, as President of the African Development Bank Group, AFDB.
Adesina contested for the position on May 28, 2015 and was elected in the keenly contested election.
The former minister takes over officially on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
His former colleague, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, arrived Abidjan on Sunday ahead of the ceremony today, while Osinbajo landed in the country on Monday to represent President Muhammadu Buhari.
