A task force has been set up by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, ICPC, to look into the administration of former governors of Lagos and Rivers States, Babatunde Fashola and Rotimi Amaechi respectively.
Before now, there have been calls in some quarters for the probe of the close allies of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The task force, according to what we gathered, was constituted following petitions written against the ex-governors.
Others to be investigated include Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State, Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State; Ibrahim Shema of Katsina, Sullivan Chime of Enugu State, Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State and Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.
