**Hails ‘Heroic’ Ikeme
Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, has showered praises on Nigeria’s goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, who made his debut for Nigeria on Saturday against Tanzania in a Group G 2015 AFCON qualifying match.
The former Eagles captain said the Wolverhampton FC shot stopper put up a heroic debut in the match.
Speaking after the game, Oliseh said, “I don’t like to single out players from the team but I have to admit that Carl had a great game for us today.”
However, the coach noted that he would go back to the drawing board to work on the lapses notice in the match against Tanzania on Saturday. He admitted that the team lacked quality.
“We have to continue to build. We barely had two good days of training before this match so I am happy with the one point.
“In second half, we organized ourselves better but lacked that quality supply from midfield to attack. We will get better,” Oliseh said after the game.
@aproko247 Oliseh reminds me of APC. It is way easier to criticize than to perform.
