Biz Journalist, Ayo Amimu Involved In Auto Crash

A reputable Nigerian journalist, Ayodele Aminu, had a close shave with death on Sunday evening in a road mishap on the Lagos-Epe Expressway.

Aminu, who is the deputy editor, Business, New Telegraph newspapers, was said to have been returning from a function when a commercial driver allegedly skidded off his lane and rammed into the journalist’s Toyota Corolla car.

He was said to be returning from an event organised by the Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria, FICAN, when the accident occurred.

It is not clear if any live was lost in the accident; however, Aminu was quickly rushed to the Lagoon Hospital in Apapa where he is presently receiving intensive medical attention.
