Between Oyo CP And Journalists

It is no more news that the authorities of the Nigerian Police have re-deployed some of its senior officers, which also affected the Pacesetters state.

CP Mohammed Katsina was transferred to Kano given way for the new commissioner of police in the state, Adeleye Olusola Oyebade, who succeeded him.

The new CP resumed duty with a maiden press briefing, where he declared zero tolerance for crime in the state.

While Katsina enjoyed the best relationship with the media, the new CP may not have the same privilege as some media organizations and their representatives have blacklisted the activities of the police in the state.

The new police commissioner needs an urgent re-organisation of the command’s Public Relations Department from the head of the place to the rank and file if he wants to have a robust relationship with the media because of their attitude to the job.
