Manchester City suffered another Premier League defeat at the White Hart Lane in Saturday’s early kick off after going a goal ahead to lose 4-1 to Tottenham Hotspurs.
Kevin de Bruyne put City ahead 25 minutes into the game, but Eric Dier cancelled the deficit for the host at half time.
At the resumption of the second half, Manchester City lost control of the match, especially when Yaya Youre was replaced, and the North London side took total control of the game.
White Hart Lane roared in the 50th minute when Toby Alderweireld put his side ahead from a free kick to beat City’s goalkeeper. Harry Kane and Erik Lamela sealed the win for Tottenham in the 61st and 79th minute respectively.
