Eighteen-year-old Sound Engineering graduate of the SAE Institute, Cape Town, South Africa, Jeffrey Akoh, has emerged winner of the eighth edition of MTN Project Fame West Africa after eight weeks at the Academy.
Jeff, as he is fondly called, beat other five finalists to pick the grand prize of N5 million cheque, an SUV and a recording contract worth millions of Naira.
The 2015 edition of the music talent hunt programme was one of the most interesting in recent times and highly competitive.
With the win, Jeff has now joined seven other past winners of the show; Iyanya, iMike, Ayoola, Chidinma, Monica, Olawale and Geoffrey.
His last performance with Yemi Alade thrilled the audience, who went up in roar.
Other winners of the night were Pearl, the first runner-up; Anderson, second runner-up and Ada, the third runner up.
