The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido, according to several reports, has taken a new wife, which is his fourth.
The former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, was said to have taken an 18-year old girl, who is an Adamawa princess, as wife. The wedding ceremony reportedly took place on Friday in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, in a low key.
The new bride, Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa, is the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo-Musdafa.
She only reportedly completed her secondary school education recently and has allegedly enrolled for advanced level studies.
Sanusi’s other wives are Sadiya, Maryam and Rakiya.
