Explosion Rocks Lagos

An explosion occurred in a part of Lagos State on Sunday afternoon, Aproko247 has authoritatively learnt.

The blast, reportedly from a gas, was said to have happened from a locked beer parlour at Oworonsoki, inward Mayaki area of the metropolis.

According to the South West Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, who confirmed the incident, four persons, including a girl, were injured in the explosion.

They have reportedly been rushed to Afolabi Hospital for treatment.

He further said, “Fire service and police are trying to find out the cause of the explosion as the shop was locked at the time of explosion. Crowd are greatly impeding emergency works.

“We call on the crowd to leave the area entirely. The explosion partly affected a building next to the beer parlour.”
