On Tuesday, the Senate screened 10 ministerial nominees sent to red chambers by President Muhammadu Buhari for confirmation.
Immediately after members of the upper legislative chambers returned from a closed-session on Tuesday morning, they commenced the exercise, which lasted over five hours.
Kayode Fayemi and Abdulrahman Dambazau were among the nominees quizzed with the longest time, while National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was among those with the shortest time of questioning.
The 10 cabinet hopefuls screened on Tuesday were Udo Udoma, Kayode Fayemi, Audu Ogbeh, Ogbonnaya Onu, Osagie Ehanire, Abdulrahman Dambazau, Lai Mohammed, Amina Mohammed, Suleiman Hussaini Adamu and Ibrahim U. Jibril.
