Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, are presently holding a demonstration in Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to what our correspondent gathered, the protesters are kicking against the detention of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Kanu has been in the custody of the Nigerian authorities after he was arrested in Lagos few weeks ago.
The demonstrators are demanding the unconditional release of their leader.
There have been calls for secession from Nigeria by members of IPOB, who are mainly those from the eastern Nigeria. They want a sovereign state of Biafra.
