Not less than 15 Permanent Secretaries have been relieved of their duties by President Muhammadu Buhari, Aproko247 has learnt.
It was further learnt that the President ordered the mass retirement of permanent secretaries on Tuesday after a meeting with them in Abuja.
At the said meeting were also Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and the newly appointed Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.
Buhari is expected to swear-in ministers-designate on Wednesday. Before now, the President has been working with the Permanent Secretaries of the different ministries.
However, we could not confirm why the President took this action.
