A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device on Sunday in Maiduguri, Borno State, which claimed the lives of at least seven persons.
It was gathered that the bomber, a female believed to be in her 20s, ignited her Improvised explosive Devices (IEDs) along Maiduguri – Mafa road on, which also left many people injured.
A police source was quoted in a report to have said that, “The explosion took place at about 12 noon on Sunday near Welcome to Maiduguri Muna Garrage situated along Gamboru Ngala- Dikwa Mafa- Maiduguri troubled road.”
Those affected by the blast were reportedly rushed to the hospital.
