Audu Abubakar Buried Amid Tears (Photos)

Corpse of candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Audu Abubakar, has finally been laid to rest.

The former governor was buried on Monday afternoon at his residence in Ogbonicha area of the state.

Tears flows freely on the cheeks of many sympathisers, who thronged the home of the late Abubakar.

Earlier, there were speculations that some spiritualists had prayed fervently to revive him, which never yielded the expected result.

The deceased died on Sunday after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the Kogi election inconclusive.

Islamic clerics were on ground to conduct the burial and laid his remains to rest at about some minutes past 2pm.
