Fayose Suspends Ekiti SSG

Secretary to the Ekiti State Government, Dr Modupe Alade, has been suspended by the state governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Alade was removed from office for alleged incompetence, according to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Idowu Adelusi, which was made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday.

Fayose directed the Head of Service of the state, Dr Gbenga Faseluka, to oversee the office in the three months Alade’s suspension is expected to last.

Alade, a retired Permanent Secretary from the state’s civil service, was the Treasurer of Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation before she was appointed by the governor as SSG.
