Gospel artiste, Tayo Olorunfemi-Olawolu, popularly known as Kabioosi Queen, and her Royal Gifted Hearts Singers, endeared more fans to her hearts and music during her concert held in Ibadan, Oyo State on Friday, January 1, 2016, to herald the New Year.
The show, tagged ‘Praises in Positivity and Possibility’, was held in conjunction with BAMBAMINT Ventures (Music & Films) an outfit owned by Rev. Chris Olawolu.
Speaking, Kabioosi Queen said the event was to set a conducive atmosphere for God to dwell in lost ones.
According to her, “Since I gave my life to Christ, I have a divine call to spread the gospel in various forms especially through music. I have always had a passion to touch the lives of the unbelievers and lost souls, thus winning souls to the kingdom of God.
“So I decided to fulfill my calling and passion through my natural God-given talent, music”.
She added that, “If we must get God down to meet our respective needs; we must create an atmosphere conducive for Him to inhabit and dwell in. In the midst of praises, God does wonders and everybody needs God, but creating that environment is where the challenge lies.”
“The gospel music concert was also a forum to help people have that kind of atmosphere to encounter God and their miracles, and to become conscious of God’s goodness at all times”.
Kabioosi Queen churned out hit tracks alongside good beats, songs and music from her fast moving two albums (‘Testimony’ and ‘New Me’ – Emi Titun) like – ‘Apata Ayeraye’, ‘Bijo ba ye o’, ‘Oluwa, mo nilo enikan’, ‘Nile onifa’ among others to the delights of those who attended the programme.
