Spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, spent the night in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Metuh was arrested on Tuesday morning by operatives of the Commission at his residence in Abuja.
He was later taken to the agency’s headquarters in Abuja to answer questions on how about N1.4 billion strayed from the account of the Office of the National Security Adviser into a company, Destra, linked to him.
It was gathered that Metuh has boasted to defend how the transaction took place in court and refused to present documents to his interrogators.
It is however not certain if Metuh would be released today or charged to court after questioning by the EFCC.
