The long drawn media war between the Adelekes and the Momodus seems to be over following a peace deal reached by both families a while ago.
It was gathered that David Adeleke, fondly called Davido, and his babymama, Sophia Momodu, signed a peace pact after the intervention of the National Agency For the Prohibition of Trafficking In Person, NAPTIP.
Sophia had accused Davido of trying to illegally take their daughter, Imade, out of the country. But Davido claimed he and his family were taking the child to Dubai for a medical check.
Renowned journalist and publisher of Ovation magazine, Dele Momodu, who is a cousin to Sophia, waded into the matter, which drew attention of the media to it.
The Sun reported that the meeting was called by NAPTIP and was attended by Davido, Sophia, Deji Adeleke (Davido’s father), Mr and Mrs Dele Momodu, counsels to the Adelekes and Momodus and representatives of NAPTIP.
It was also said that the issue was resolved amicably, while Davido’s family was advised to allow Sophia access to her daughter, who is presently in care of the singer’s sister, Ashley.
Also, both parties were told to stop the public washing of their linens.
