Okorocha Swears-in 13 Commissioners

Thirteen Commissioners were sworn-in and given portfolios on Thursday by Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State.

The ceremony was performed by the governor in Owerri, the state capital and was attended by many political figures in Imo State.

Okorocha also sworn-in 27 Transition Committee Chairmen and an Economic Adviser in to office.

The swearing-in of the Commissioners followed their screening and clearance by the Imo State House of Assembly.

Below are the Commissioners with their portfolios;

1. Law Egboro—Lands, Survey, Housing and Urban Development
2. Barr Ngozi Njoku—Health, Women Affairs and Social Development
3. Getrude Oduka—Education, Science and Environment
4. Barr M.O Mlemadim—Attorney Resources
6. Chidi Ibe—Information, Youths and Sports
7. Vitalis Orikaeze AJumbe—Internal Resources and Pension Matters
8. Barr Obinna Mbata—Finance
9. Innocent Eke—Community Government, Culture and Traditional Affairs
10. Emma Ibediro—Local Government and General and Commissioner for Justice
5. Udo Agoha—Agriculture and Natural
Rural Development
11. Ifeanyi Ararume Jr—Commerce Industry and Tourism
12. Rodney Ajaelu—Public Safety and Public Utilities
13. Josephine Udoji—Works and Transport.
