Olubadan Passes On At 101

Oba Samuel Odulana, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, has been reported dead.

The respected monarch breathed his last on Tuesday evening at his palace at the age of 101. He passed on 86 days to his birthday and his remains taken to a morgue.

Oba Odulana ascended the throne in 2007 as the 39th Olubadan of Ibadan land. He was the 17th Olubadan since the title was elevated from Baale Ibadan to the Olubadan in 1930.

However, his demise is yet to be announced by the council of chiefs in Ibadan land.
