The immediate past governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada, was on Wednesday not present at the inauguration of his successor, Yahaya Bello, in Lokoja, where the handover ceremony took place.
Wada, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was not seen around the venue of the event.
He was not on ground to perform handover formalities or make a speech at the inauguration ceremony.
The erstwhile governor of the confluence state lost his bid to seek a rerun at the poll and lost to the All Progressives Congress, both at the main and rerun elections.
Bello was however sworn-in today at the governor of Kogi State.
