Embattled National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, has been released from prison after he met his bail conditions.
Metuh was allowed to go home on Thursday night a day after his bail conditions were relaxed. He is facing trial over his link with the $2.1 billion arms deal involving former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki.
He was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over an alleged N400 million fraud.
Metuh was arrested by operatives of the anti-graft agency from his Abuja home on January 5.
He and his firm, Destra Investment Limited, were charged before the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court. He was, among his bail conditions, told to pay the sum of N400 million.
