Ace Comedian AY Accused Of Beating Wife

Disturbing news making the rounds has it that the marriage of top Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun and Mabel, is undergoing a tough time at the moment.

According to SDK Blog which broke the news, Mabel has moved out of her matrimonial home in the Lekki area of Lagos.

It was alleged that the woman suffers domestic violence in the hands of her husband, who is one of the key forces in the comedy industry in Nigeria.

Asides, it was alleged that a top Ghanaian actress is also responsible for the trouble between AY and his wife.

AY and Mabel have been married for seven years and they have a daughter named Michelle. They precisely exchanged marital vows in Lagos on November 29, 2008 in an elaborate ceremony that had several important personalities and top celebrities in attendance.

However, on Tuesday morning (today), the comedian took to his Instagram page to write, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see. Good morning my neighbours.”
