One of the top figures in the Yoruba movie industry, Femi Adebayo, has now been appointed as Special Assistant on Culture, Arts and Tourism to the Kwara State governor, Ahmed Abdul Fatai.
Ahmed was appointed on Monday, February 22, 2016, by the state governor in Ilorin, the state capital.
Femi is the son of veteran actor, Adebayo Salami, fondly called Oga Bello.
The appointee has acted in several flicks and has also produced some movies.
The 43-year-old actor is expected to use his influence in the make-belief industry to boost the state’s arts, culture and tourism sectors of the economy.
