789MARKETING reports that Skye Bank may have taken its account from a leading Public Relations agency based in Lagos, The Quadrant Company, fondly called Quadrant, and given it to Powerlight Communications.
The reputable brand online platform disclosed that no reason was given for this.
Powerlight Communications is owned and run by the bank’s pioneer Corporate Affairs and Communication Manager, Kayode Akinyemi.
According to 789MARKETING, the new agency was appointed in a letter dated March 1, 2016 and co-signed by the Bank’s Head of Strategic Brand Management, Nduneche Ezurike and Head of Corporate Communications, Rasheed Bolarinwa.
The duration of the deal was however not specified, according to the report, but it took effect from March 1, 2016.
When contacted by the online journal, Akinyemi neither confirmed nor denied the news, but he disclosed that if it is true, his company will “position the Skye Bank brand positively and to a greater height especially at this peculiar time in the banking industry.”
