Tragedy was let loose in the early hours of Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in Lagos when a five-storey building caved in.
The unfortunate incident was aid t have occurred in the Lekki area of the state.
According to what we gathered, the building, located precisely at Lekki Phase 1, a posh area Lagos State, collapsed and claimed not less than four lives.
Spokespersons for the National Emergency Management Agency, South West zone, Ibrahim Faronloye, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that search and rescue operation is ongoing.
Also, Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe, said efforts are being made to bring the situation under control.
At least six persons have been rescued alive from the debris.
