Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Benue South Senatorial re-run election held some days ago, Daniel Onjeh, has filed another petition against eventual winner of the poll, David Mark, a former Senate President.
Onjeh told journalists about his decision to petition his opponent at the election shortly after filing his petition at a Magistrate Court on Sunday.
According to him, documents obtained from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, showed that he clearly won in most of the polling units where at least 29,000 votes were cancelled.
He is therefore seeking to be declared winner of the poll.
But spokesman of Mark, Adakole Elaijah, said the legal team of his boss are still waiting to receive copies of the petition.
