Rivers State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has called on its members to attend a special prayer session for their national president, Ibinabo Fiberesima.
An appeal court in Lagos last week affirmed a five-year jail term on the former beauty queen by a Lagos High Court for reckless driving, which led to the death of one Dr Giwa.
In a memo sent out to AGN members in Rivers State, Ibinabo’s state of origin, they were urged to show up at the programme by 3pm on Wednesday at Seanel Bar, behind NITEL, opposite Garrison in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
The message reads, “Join all Nollywood practitioners in Rivers State, as we gather in a prayer session for our sister and President of AGN, Ibinabo Fiberesima; by 3pm tomorrow 16/3/16 @ Seanel Bar, Behind NITEL opp Garrison, PH.
