The Financial Literacy Programme of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, received a boost on Thursday from Heritage Bank.
The reputable bank, which recently acquired Enterprise Bank and got a facelift as a national bank, presented a set of books to the University of Ilorin Secondary School in Kwara State.
At the occasion organised by Heritage Bank to mark the 2016 Financial Literacy Day, the bank reinstated its commitment to improve the poor state of education in Nigeria.
Present at the presentation were Mrs Kikanwa Akpenyi, Head, Customer Engagement, Heritage Bank Limited; Mrs Moji Niran-Oladunni, Divisional Head, Public Sector, Heritage Bank Limited; and Mrs Silifat Nike Jaiyeola, Principal, University of Ilorin Secondary School.
Also at the function were Miss Zuriel Oduwole, Heritage Bank Financial Literacy Ambassador; and some students of University of Ilorin Secondary School.
