Nigerian rapper, 2Shotz, has claimed his estranged wife has not allowed him have access to the only child between them.
In 2015, 2shotz’s wife claimed the artiste was assaulting her in their marriage and that she had to leave him to escape the regular domestic violence she had to suffer.
2Shotz had been very quiet about the issue, but chose to address it on his birthday.
The rapper apologised to his fans for letting them down and thanked those who stood by him during the trying times.
According to him, he may never see his child against his will because his estrange wife eloped with her, who was born in Ireland, where her mother is believed to be at the moment.
In an emotional message, 2Shotz also said he made a mistake marrying the wrong woman, apparently referring to Precious Jones, his estranged wife.
“So I’m here today, grateful to God, grateful for life, grateful for another year added to my life, through ups and downs. Speaking of downs, let me be a man and accept my wrongs (if any). I accept to myself that I made a huge mistake in my life that opened my eyes to a lot and changed my things; being with a wrong woman and now being a father to a child I may never see against my will.
“In as much as I love my child more than my own life, this has come to make me appreciate my family; and mom and dad, I wanna say I understand now and I love you both to death for how you have raised me. May God also bless my siblings; Muna and Chichi.
“I apologise to everyone especially the fans for not coming tru as much; these are a few reasons why I haven’t been heard in a while. I’m sorry for all the negative wrongful press I have brought to you.
“It has not been easy separating 2shotz from William, but this is to say THANK YOU to everyone for still giving me a chance and the CORE fans for still believing in me through my downfall.
“I promise not to let everyone down anymore and just to prove this, everything that has happened to my life I put down in songs so I’m dropping a NEW mixtape tomorrow 21/03/16 ‘LOUD SILENCE’. Hope you enjoy it, happy birthday to me, send me your gifts in PRAYERS, turn up later tonight,” he wrote.
