Founder of City of Knowledge Academy, CKA, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Mrs Mosun Belo-Olusoga has asked government to direct the police to constitute patrol teams that would be going around schools and their environs nationwide.

She gave the advice in her address of welcome at the official launch of CKA in Ijebu-Ode, saying such approach as part of security measures to safeguard lives and property in schools would in no small measure prevent students’ kidnapping in the country.

According to her, frequent presence of armed police men and officers on patrol around schools will not only prevent criminal elements from gaining access into schools but will also restrain them from kidnapping school children, the practice that is now rampant in the country.
