One of the leading airlines in Nigeria, Arik Air, has reacted to the scarce caused by one of its plane’s landing issue on Thursday night.
In a statement issued by its PR Manager, Adebanji Ola, the airline said the incident has forced a rescheduling of the flight to Friday.
“Our A330-200 aircraft operating Lagos-London Heathrow flight on Thursday night had a technical fault on landing London and the aircraft has been confirmed AOG.
“As a result of this, Thursday’s London-Lagos flight has been rescheduled to operate on Friday,” Ola said in the statement.
He quickly added that “this incident will not affect Friday’s Lagos-London flight which will operate as scheduled at 12:45pm Friday.”
Arik Air assured “its passengers that their safety is of utmost importance in its operations.”
