Confam Entertainment artiste, Akinmayokun Awodunmila, better known as MayD, is currently in Congo for a concert organised by US-based international singer, Akon.
The Nigerian star arrived Congo on Friday ahead of the show, which takes place on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
MayD will be performing alongside US-based international singers like Keri Hilson and Mary J Blige, who are in Africa to support one of their own.
MayD’s trip to Congo comes shortly after he dropped his new single and its video entitled ‘I Wanna Know’.
The Nigerian worked with Akon when he was still with Northside Inc, an outfit owned by Jude Okoye, which managed the multiple award-winning group, P-Square.
Akon’s ‘Light Up Africa’ project is aimed at providing electricity to several communities in the continent.
