The online portal for the maiden edition of the African Culture Initiatives Awards has been launched, Aproko247, can authoritatively report.
The awards ceremony is the brain child of the African Culture Initiatives.
A statement issued by organisers of the event disclosed that the ceremony seeks to recognise and reward Africans living in the continent, in the diaspora and of African descent.
This year’s awards will recognise entertainment professionals, sports enthusiast, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and legends, the statement said.
African Culture Initiatives, an Organisation formed and registered in Atlanta Georgia, vows to alter the way people view and think of the achievements of Africans.
It says July 16, 2016 at the Scadshow Theater in Atlanta Georgia, the first of the yearly event will kick off.
