According to reports, Omosexy may soon become ‘Omo trouble’ as one of her fans jokingly said.
This is because the actress’ advocacy may make her land in jail if criminal charges are filed against by the Lagos State government and she is floored in court.
According to News of the People, the beautiful mother of four has never paid income tax to the Lagos State government.
It was gathered that Omotola may soon be served legal papers to begin a tax evasion proceedings against her. The Lagos Internal Revenue Service may soon commence criminal proceedings against her.
Recently, ‘the actress has been very vocal on the social media clandestinely calling on her fans to resist paying taxes as according to her, gains of such payment is not being felt by the citizens,’ the magazine reports.
News of the People said it was reliably informed that all preliminary investigation on the actress proved that she has not been complying with the tax laws and may be liable for prosecution.
It would be recalled that earlier this year the agency also discovered a huge discrepancies in the popular blogger, Linda Ikeji’s claims as to income tax payment.
All attempts to speak with the actress proved abortive.
