Armed to the teeth security men on Monday manned the entrance of the secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, commonly called the Glass House to prevent entry.
This followed the leadership crisis rocking the football governing body in Nigeria, which may force FIFA to ban Nigeria from football activities.
Last week, a court in Jos, Plateau State, sacked Amaju Pinnick-led NFF board and paved way for Chris Giwa to become president of the federation.
On Monday morning, as staff of the NFF resumed for work, they were surprised to see soldiers and anti riot policemen preventing entry into the Glass House.
The building is also shared by the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, and only properly identified staff of the Commission are allowed in.
On Sunday, Giwa named his new board and had said earlier he would resume on Monday (today).
However, lawyer of Pinnick, Festus Keyamo, claimed the court never ordered the removal of his client.
