Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, in Abuja.
Shettima was accompanied to NEMA office by Senators Abubakar Kyari and Baba Kaka Garbai as well as some top state functionaries.
He was received by the Director General of NEMA, Muhammed Sani Sidi.
The visit, according to Shettima, was aimed at appreciating the continued supports of the Federal Government through NEMA to the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in the state.
In addition, the governor solicited for the sustenance as well as even more especially for the displaced persons back to their communities.
