Leading share registration service provider in Nigeria, Africa Prudential Registrars Plc, held its Annual General Meeting, AGM, in Lagos on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, and from what Aproko247 gathered, it was highly successful.
The company, which is a subsidiary of UBA Group, used the occasion to keep its shareholders abreast of the progress made in the past financial year.
At the meeting, according to what Aproko247 learnt, shareholders of Africa Prudential Registrars Plc unanimously ratified a total dividend payment of 60 Kobo per ordinary share for the period 2015 financial year.
The final dividend of 43 Kobo rounds up to 60 Kobo total dividend for the period, having paid an interim dividend of 17 Kobo on August 31, 2015, after the release of its half-year financial results. The company’s audited results for 2015 shows a total of N1.2 billion will be paid to shareholders of the company, while payment of the final dividend will be made on April 13, 2016 to all shareholders on the register of members of the company as at the qualifying date of March 22, 2016.
