Acting Director General of the National Centre for Women Development, NCWD, in Abuja, Abdulmalik Dauda, has died.
His death was announced in Abuja on Friday by his Protocol Officer, Mohammed Aliyu.
It was disclosed that Dauda was involved in a fatal road mishap, which claimed his life.
According to Aliyu, his boss had an auto crash along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway while returning from an official assignment.
The deceased was born on August 27, 1959, in Niger state, and was survived by two wives and five children.
The remains of Dauda have already been buried according to Islamic rites in his home town in Niger.
Late Dauda took over from Ms Onyeka Onwenu on February 16, 2016, following the removal of 26 heads of government agencies and parastatals by President Muhammadu Buhari.
