On Sunday, April 17, 2016, star actress in the Yoruba movie industry, Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, rolled out drums to celebrate her 40 years in showbiz.
The event took place in Lagos, precisely at the Time Square Event Centre, Ajao Road, Ikeja.
Several stars in the Yoruba film industry trooped out in numbers to support one of their own.
Madam Saje, who was looking radiant throughout the event, could not hide her joy seeing those who came out to rejoice with her.
Notable faces on the screen at the occasion were Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, Regina Chukwu, Oga Bello, Pasuma and Toyin Agboola (Ashewo to re Mecca).
Others were Adunni Ade, Biodun Okeowo, Fadekemi Momoh, Ijebu, Doris Simeon, Muka Ray, Sola Sotayo, Dayo Amusa, Mercy Abosele, Remi Surutu, Lepa Shandy among others.
Madam Saje, 53, got the nickname from one of her television series, Erin Kee Kee in the early 90s, where she acted alongside comic Yoruba actor, Baba Suwe.
The actress hails from Oke-Ode in Kwara State and began acting at the age of 13.
