Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo, is going through difficult times at the moment and the reason is not far-fetched.
The Watford goal poacher has lost his father, Paul Ighalo, to the cold hands of death.
Ighalo announced the demise of his dad via his BBM on Monday, informing his close friends of the unfortunate incident.
He wrote in the BBM chat, “I lost my father early hours of today (Monday), it is a very painful loss.”
The Edo State-born striker played an FA Cup semi-final match against Crystal Palace on Sunday evening, which they lost 2-1 to the Alan Pardew’s side.
Ighalo has so far netted 16 goals for Watford in 35 appearances.
