YBNL label boss, Olamide, has reacted to news story that Lil Kesh, the artiste he signed two years ago, has left him.
It was reported a while ago that Lil Kesh had dumped the music outfit and had floated his own called YAGI.
While Olamide, a top rapper in Nigeria confirmed that Lil Kesh has formed his own label, he however stressed that the fast-rising rapper is still under his management.
Olamide explained that Lil Kesh signed two years contract with YBNL, same as Viktoh, another rapper under YBNL. He further disclosed that the deal was not extended by Lil Kesh after it expired but insisted that they still maintain the bond as one family.
“I signed 2 years deal with Viktoh and Kesh, it ended weeks ago. But the bond is 007 leave it (James Bond level), don’t touch it. Kesh got his own record label now #YAGI, but still works with YBNL Management.
Viktoh is still under YBNL Management too. So, worry not. The world is ours for the taken. #YBNL, #FamilyForEver,” Olamide posted on Tuesday on his Instagram page to clarify the controversy.
