It is a general believe that a teacher’s reward is in heaven, but to Maltina, a well-known malt drink, teachers must get their rewards here on earth and continue in heaven.
On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, the 2016 Maltina Teacher of the Year awards was flagged off in Lagos with pomp and pageantry.
The event had top shots at Nigerian Breweries Plc, makers of Maltina; as well as executives of the Nigerian Union of Teachers, NUT.
Some of the dignitaries at the occasion were the Human Resources Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Victor Famuyibo; Corporate Affairs Adviser, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Kufre Ekanem; Deputy General Secretary of NUT, Wole Oyeniyi; 2015 Maltina Teacher of the Year, Mrs Rose Nkemdilim Obi; amongst others.
