Owner of popular D’Rovans Hotel, which is now known as Walan Hotel in Ibadan, Francis Aiyegbeni, is dead.
The boxing enthusiast was said to have breathed his last on Saturday afternoon at the Intensive Care Unitof the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
According to reports, the Edo State-born former boxer was rushed to the hospital on Friday after his health deteriorated at the Police Hospital in Eleyele, also in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Late Aiyegbeni, aged 69, suffered a serious cardiac related ailment until his death.
