Factional chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Chris Giwa, was on Friday arrested by the police for alleged invasion of the Abuja headquarters of the football governing body in Nigeria.
It was said that Giwa stormed the NFF Glass House on Friday evening in an attempt to take over the Federation, which has been in leadership crisis lately again.
The Giwa FC owner tried to force his way into the headquarters after a bailiff had served a court judgment from the Federal High Court in Jos, Plateau State on the General Secretary of the NFF.
While addressing newsmen of his intention to reposition the body as the ‘new NNF boss, policemen stormed the place and whisked him away to their station at Wuse Zone 3.
