A director with First Bank of Nigeria has been apprehended by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The suspect, Dauda Lawal, is the Executive Director, Public Sector of the First Bank.
Lawal was reportedly arrested on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.
SaharaReporters said the First Bank director was nabbed by the EFCC over the ongoing investigation by the anti-graft agency on the $55 million misappropriated by former Minister of Petroleum, Deziani Allison-Madueke.
