A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Osun State led by Soji Adagunodo has been sacked from the party’s secretariat located along Osogbo-Gbongan Road.
This action was taken by the former Deputy Governor of the state, Iyiola Omisore, whose faction led by Dr Bayo Faforiji, stayed away from the congress held recently.
It was learnt that Omisore rented the party secretariat and had been the one responsible for the payment of rent on the property.
It would be recalled that Omisore’s faction did not take part in the exercise because it claimed there was an injunction from court stopping the congress.
The faction of the state’s party evicted from the secretariat packed their belongings on Monday to a new place around Otaefun area along Ikirun Road.
