There was pandemonium on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the popular Ladipo Market in Lagos because of a fight that broke out between traders at the market and some suspected hoodlums.
It was gathered that various dangerous weapons were freely used by both parties, who tried to outwit one another.
According to reports, it took the intervention of security operatives to quell the violence, which many said could have degenerated into a total breakdown of law and other in the area.
Several people in the market well known for the sale of vehicle spare parts were said to have fled to safety when the ugly incident started.
It was also said that some people were injured during the unrest, which lasted hours.
